Default Procomp Tires, Which Model Do You Like?

Okay so I've been talking to this guy who works for Procomp, and he can get me a pretty good deal on some tires. I'm just not sure which one to chose, which one do you think is the all around best?

I'm not a big fan of Procomp... but depending on the price I'd buy some.

I'm running their mts and like them. They grab nicely on the Slick rock and im Yet to Pop one. Mud they are decent and snow they are alright. Don't like them on road. They wear way fast. Not too loud though.

I ran some M/T's for a while...the sucked.
Punctured 2 sidewalls without trying.
Funky wear on all four corners.
Massive amount of weights needed to balance the darn things...even after spinning the rubber on the wheels multiple times.

Never again.

personally get the most popular size of the mt and sell them on craigslist towards an actual good set of mt's( km2's, coopers, tsl's, ect...)

I ran a set of the Xterrains. They were OK. Not too loud and decent in mud and rocks. Wore well and sidewalls did fine. Get something else as a spare if you run them since they are directional.

M/T Pro comp 3flats in two weekends on nearly new tires plus a couple other flats at various times just driving logging roads. Horrible wear. A buddy had the X Terrains with the same results lots of flats and bad wear. The only time I've taken a tire I've paid for and dumped em before they were even near worn. Spend the extra money and buy a real tire you'll be happier in the end.

I'm 16, its my DD, and go wheeling a few times a month. But wow, thanks for the input guys. I originally wanted to stay away from procomp because my dad has a set of 35" AT's from them and only lasted something like 30,000 miles. I really like the KM2's and Goodyear Wranglers. What do you think I should do?

If its a DD AND you go wheeling a few times a month my personal opinion is Duratracs, its really the best of both worlds but dont expect it to be AMAZING at anything, they're above average wheeling tire and decent road tire.

I personally loved them on my dual purpose rig. If you notice in my sig, my last rig had them and my next rig will too.

Actually the only reason i looked at the Duratrac is because I couldn't get Truxus tires anymore, those were my favourite but now Duratracs are, until i get above 35s then it'll be truxus again.

Isn't 30k decent for a m/t tire? I was thinking of the dunlop mud rovers for my next set

I just changed the Cooper Discover STT mud terrain off my F350 Superduty with just over 50k and they still had easily another 10k on em but had some cracking from age. They are a good tire for the price.

I currently run BFG KM2s on my Superduty and Cherokee, can't comment on mileage yet but are great tires so far both off and on road.
