Pro Comp Xtreme all terrains
Im currently looking for new tires to go with my 2" bb and quadratec happens to have package deals for the xtreme terrain, the package would actually be awesome because they come with the 15" black steel wheels i want, since i have 16" polished aluminum rims, eitherway i have been looking for a while and on the many sites i look something keeps drawing me back to the procomps, i like the look, they look like they would perform just as well as some muds ive seen, and then i saw them on quadratec in the package and it pushed me closer, im pretty sure they are what i want.
To my questions
Anyone ever ran these? (Id be getting 31x10.50's)
Likes/dislikes ect?
How do they perform off road & on road ect
Oh ill be putting them on my 95 ZJ with the 4.0 and 3.55's

My buddy Ric ran fresh ProComps 31" on 15" steel, 99 XJ, pushed a plow hard all winter, traction like jack the bear! Likes em on road also for snow, wet, ice. No long term mud results, yet.

I've got them in 31x10.50 on my 94' Dakota 4wd, 5.2L and they arent that great in mud or on wet pavement. I've slid thru stoplights on wet days without gettin on the brakes too hard. They are quiet on road and have lasted about 30K highway miles with semi-frequent rotation. My feeling is that the rubber is very hard compound that helps them meet their mileage warranty.

I tend to steer away from ProComp tires. According to some of my buddies that have ran them, they're made out of crappy rubber compounds that wear quickly and they'd never buy them again.

I haven't personally used that tire, but I've driven on all the other Pro Comp tires, and offroad performance was disappointing on all of them, except the mud terrain, but they wore out quick enough to make me not buy them for my personal vehicle. On road they did ok, but still, Pro Comps seem to wear out quick.
I would personally look into different tires. And if you plan on wheeling it, I'd avoid all terrains and go with a good radial mud terrain tire (BFG, Goodyear, Mickey Thompson, Dick Cepek, etc). If money is an issue, Treadwright makes some great tires. Only reason I'm not currently running them is because they dont make a 33 for a 15" wheel. And a set of Treadwright Guard Dogs and black steelies will cost less than that package deal Quadratec has.
