This is for anyone who is in the maket for an automtic locker and is wanting feedback on this specific locker. Dont have any box or installaion pics because i did not think about it at the time.
I opened the box and the size shocked me, it was a lot smaller than i expected. It was a pretty easy installation, it took only 2 hours from begining to end. The instructions were great and easy to follow with a ton of pictures (found these easyer than the Aussie locker instructions). What was needed was some break cleaner to clean the gears, i got 2 bottles of gear oil, some RTV gasket, and the parts for installation.
The instructions go over installation so i wont go into that.
When i first dove it it did pop a few times, but as the day went on that went away. Now it makes no sound at all (Great surprise there). It is a great little auto locker.
I took it offroad about 3 and half hours after install and it was great! I have a 2wd and going from 1 tire spinning to 2 made a world of difference. Holes that i usually had to keep in 3-4 thousand RPS i could now coast through with the Jeep propelling itself. I did submerge 1 tire and kept one completly out of the mud. The Jeep went through like nothing! My new photos show the after math of todays little trip. Needless to say, i am very pleased and the Powertrax has helped my jeep a ton.
I will keep on posting as i put it through more obsticles and let yall know of any draw backs. I soon want to try to keep only one back tire on the ground and see how it perfoms then.
For now i give it 4.3 out of 5 just because it is and automatic locker and is not as great as a Detroit locker, but it is a lot cheaper.

He decied he didnt want to go through after he saw the hole, so i let him drive my jeep through.
I was hopping i could pull him out and get pics but it was still a good time.
At least he knows the limits of his little Yota.

Cheapest i saw was $455 with out shipping, mine was $550 but i orederd it through a locat shop. I orederd Tuesday just before they closed and i got it by Friday afternoon. If you look you can find one cheaper i bet.
Its just more because it does not pop around corners like other lockers do.
I cant stress enough how easy it was though, there were 12 springs total which looked intimidating at first, but 8 of the when into holes, with heavy grease they stayed in there and never worried about them again. The other 4 ended up going together to be a sping inside a spring so the 2 double springs went in last with extreeme ease. Anyone that can turn a wrench and read (but there are pics if you cant
) can put this in.

I recently installed a p'trax no slip in mine also. I love it! The only thing I noticed is that under acceleration in a turn it locks up and slips the inside tire during the turn. Also it seems to have a lot of slack when shifting from reverse to forward. Worth the $450.00, bought it from Rusty's.

Im just updating an old post. I still have the locker and its still strong. Ive had 31x11.50 swampers and now 32x11.50 A/T's and there are no issues running them. Ive had the locker for 15,000 miles and there is no rounding of the teeth, still looks prettly close to new. I do change my diff fluid every 7k miles though.
I still strongly recomend this locker, it has held up very well in the long run

The only problem I find with it is that when off-roasting and I throw it into reverse, sometimes it doesn't engage and just ratchets.

Keeping the review going for the long run. Ive now had this locker on my Jeep for 30,000-35,000. It still performs just like when i got it. The teeth are still good from the last time I opened it up. I have run 30x9.5 radials, 31x11.50 super swampers and 32x11.50 A/T's. It has performed well with all of the above.
I recommend this locker to anyone on the market, it has survived a good run and has no signs of quitting anytime soon (knock on wood). Its been worth any penny and has been pivotal in many situations.
