I don't if this is the right section of the forum to ask this. But does anyone have experience with Powerbass amplifiers?

 

Powerbass aren't too bad for the money.

 

I was looking at one on Craigslist for 80 bucks. Is 1600 watts 5 channel amp. I need it to push 4 jbl 5.25 power series speaks rated at 55 rms 165 peak at 2 ohm and one 12" kicker competition.

 

Should do the job. I am using a 1400 watt 5 channel Pyle my self. Pushing two 5.25s, two 6x9s, one 10" sub. it comes out to 250 watts RMS to the four corner speakers and 400 watts RMS to the sub. the four corner speakers are rated at 120 Watts And it sounds good.

I used to sell the subwoofers at my shop and they were great. I'm pretty sure the quaity that goes into the subs is passed on to the amp.
