Default power to manual windows/ 95 xj

Hey all, got a question. I have power windows in my 95. It looks as thought the door used for power windows is also used for cranks windows. I am not a fan of power anything in a vehicle and I was wondering how hard it would be to make my windows crank instead of power. Is this a bolt in job or do I need to completely gut my door and replace everything. Thanks!

To make it work...

You need to swap the window regulators, drill a hole in the door panel and stick a crank on it.

To do it right...

Swap the window regulators and install door panels, lock switches and window cranks.

What I don't understand is why would someone want to do away with one of the few luxuries that these things come with...?

The thing is the door already has the hole and mounting holes for a window crank. Also, because when power windows fail its almost always electrical and I'm not a fan of electrical problems. That and i like being able to roll my windows down without turning the key on

Fewer things that can go wrong and easier door removal when you want to go doorless. I'm trying to find a set of manual doors for mine to get away from the power stuff.

Hmm, I love my electric windows.

There's nothing I hate more than having to reach over to roll a window down.
