Amazing welder. We have one at work that also has tig hookups. You can weld just about anything with it. This is coming from a certified welder that has used more machines than I can count.

Where are the tig hook ups???

Right below the mig wire hookup.
Any miller I've ever used has been great. They're awesome but you defenitely pay for what you get.

I'm pretty picky about my welds, but the autoset gets it pretty close to where I like it. Enough for a starting welder to be fine with it.

The auto set is for people who can't set up a machine properly, they are trying to make it easier for the DIY consumer.
Get the millermatic welding calculator and set it up manually

bingo. i hate the autoset on mine. i love the welder though. super portable. best in its class. good investment. i think i paid about $1000 for mine including a bottle, reg, flow meter, and a couple of 10lb spools, and a cheapie hobby helmet that i soon replaced.

I made a deal with the dealer i bought all my gear from, had them through in a 125CuFt bottle with the welder, since i have to go to them for gas anyway, it was no big deal to them. When i bought my water cooled tig, they threw in 2 125 bottles, i just had to pay for the fill. Its worth asking them.

I have had a 211 sitting on the shelf for a couple years now still in the box, recently I built my shop and house, after moving the projects into the shop I pulled out the welder. Not much experiance with it yet but I can't blame the welder, its all me baby.
Gonna put sliders on my jeep, rockers are gone so I'll get some good practice with that job. I have 2x2 .125 wall that I'm gonna weld to together to make 2x4, I don't need tons of door protection so 2x4 will work fine for my needs, be real strong with the double wall in the middle.
