Default Potential Buying Advice

So I don't know why, but I want a second XJ. One is apparently not enough. I'm not sure 2 will be enough.

Anyway, I've been patient and I've been waiting on a good deal to come along. I found one I might like but it's 2 hours away, and it's missing the passenger side fender. I think I can replace the fender, as the how-to's make it seem fairly straight forward. It has a full 3" lift, tires, new stereo, new headliner, blah, blah, decent amount of goodies. The problem is the codes the engine is throwing.

It's throwing:

P0132 - o2 sensor (He claims it was very recently replaced and probably just hasn't had a chance to cycle the code out of the system, I have no reason to doubt him other than my own paranoia that everyone is out there trying to rip me off.)
P0500 - I assume this is because it has larger than stock tires.
P0135 - Again, the o2 sensor he said was just replaced.
P0141 - Again, the o2 sensor he said was just replaced.
P0300 - Cylinder misfire.
P0305 - Cylinder 5 misfire.
P0306 - Cylinder 6 misfire.

It's a 2000 with 169K on the clock & has a lifter tick. Is that low for the misfires if it's an issue not related to spark plugs, fuel injectors, etc? What are the odds that it's a compression issue and the engine is just worn out? I can pick this up for $1500 or less. Am I stupid for even considering this?

That price seems a little steep for the fact that it's throwing codes left and right, and it's missing a fender. There's no way to determine odds on compression. I guess you could bring a compression tester with you. If it were me, and I was being patient like you are, I would pass.
