Sadly i cant see the photos where im at right now due to a filter in the router. but when i get home i will check it out!. Sounds sweeet. i am thinking about fabbing up housing for the CB itself and then making a sweet antenna mount. Its just a small thing that changes a jeeps appearance completely.

What's that on top? A Flag or a "Parking Garage Bumper"? Wow, I really like the Color of that Truck! Is that a Factory Color?

Its a flag sleeve. I have a Jeep Club flag that zips to it. Check out Foreverwave.com for all kinds of flags. As for the color, its Bigfoot/Royal Blue (A Ford color).

I was thinking I had not seen that Color yet on a Jeep. I'm going to have to keep that in mind for the future, I really like that Color.

Thanks for the Flag link!

I realized after I was done and using it that I goofed. Instead of using flat stock running from the square tubing up to the Ground Plane, I should have used 90 degree Angle Iron With the "V" facing towards the end of the square tubing. Mine ended up vibrating (Twisting) a little on Washboard Roads. I am sure the Angle Iron would have prevented it from twisting and been just as streamlined to prevent getting caught on Brush.

I hope it works out for you, Now I'm trying to figure out what I can make to utilize the hole on the passenger side. A vertical folding Cooking/Prep Table for when Camping maybe?

On my 97 I could never mount mine there, Mine is a quite a bit larger than yours and the dash looks different. I had to make an overhead aluminum bar to hang mine from between the Visors. It also turned out pretty good, I will try to get a pic of it up ASAP. Got to make a trip tomorrow but will try to do that when I get the chance.

Yep, for your radio a tail light mount would be just fine. What I do with mine actually works better if closer to the ground at this point.

Here's a fun fact, General Patton was having trouble sending and receiving from the bottom of a Valley one time during his Campaign in WWII. So he took the Antenna off the vehicle vertical mounting and threw it flat on the ground. Worked great and saved the day, Why did this work better? Fred here on CF could probably explain it in better wording and detail than I.

I kind of figured that I'm about to go talk to Alaska, Hawaii and Maryland on Citizen Band Frequencies, Wish it was a little closer to fall, I could do better.

What matters to me is that when I am in the middle of BFE I can give someone a number to call
