A true "Whip" CB antenna is a SS 102" whip, just thought I would let you know the correct term for it.

A true CB whip is a 6 inch spring with a 102" whip for a total of 108" of antenna. many people forget the spring is part of the antenna.

Well then don't forget the 18' of coax required with it also because of the type of antenna it is

Default CB Mast

Thank you! Been waiting for a chance to show off my full Stainless Mast Mount and looked for a thread like this. Apparently I did not use the right keywords in my search!

The inspiration for this fabrication came from my Wife..."You are not drilling any holes in the Jeep" I definitely needed an all metal mast because It tends to get pretty hot out here in the Desert Southwest "Wink"

So I utilized the open end of the Class 3 Hitch to make this streamlined mount. All the old time Hammers insisted that even just a little Ground Plane front and rear of a Mast makes a lot of difference so I incorporated about 9" both forward and aft when putting this together

The full shot shows how nicely it ended up tucking into the Factory Roof Rack slot yet still clears the Gas filler door and even the rear door on our 4 door when in "Stealth Fast Food" mode .
