Just a quick story..
So I have an elderly couple who are my neighbors. They constantly complain about my dogs barking, fireworks, shooting guns etc. but mostly about the noise of my Jeep and how much dust it kicks up (gravel road).
Today was pretty much a blizzard (about 10 inches of snow came down on the mountain) and they decided it was a good time to go cross country skiing as there is between 2-5 feet of snow in the forest service behind my house. (10-12 feet on top) I was out shoveling my dogs pen and the husband of the elderly couple came running up. Turns out his wife had blacked out, collapsed in a snow bank, came too and couldn't move about 5 miles back up the mountain.
So we loaded up in my Jeep and took off (my property borders the forest service). There are no roads or anything back there (just ATV/horse trails) and 2-3 feet of snow on most of it so I figured I would make it as far as I could and carry her to the Jeep to get warm- wait for the Fire Department to make it out there (never ended up showing up). Made it to her in about 40 minutes as I just kept on the throttle, bouncing over stumps, fallen trees etc.(couldn't see them to pick a path). Tried to stick as close to the large trees as possible as the snow is minimal underneath them. Only had to use the winch a few times. Decided to take her to the closest road which was down the mountain a little ways the opposite direction from my house. Did not have much trouble making it down hill. Got her loaded up in a truck and they took her to the hospital. She is fine.
Unfortunately I couldn't get out there as the forest service gate was closed- Took me about 3.5 hours to make it the 5 miles back home- The Engo winch proved to be worth its weight in gold. It basically drug me the entire way back up the mountain to the point where I could pick up some speed. A few times after that as well. Most of the time the snow was over my tires and a few time where my tires could not find ground at all. I'm very happy with the purchase after that mess lol.
In anycase, I don't think they will complain about my Jeep anymore
I think one of my axle Ujoints is shot after slamming into so many stumps etc. but it's a cheap price to pay. Kinda wish I had a snowmobile again after this year!

Awesome story, hopefully they'll be walking down your street one day and be attacked by an armed assailant, upon which your dogs will come running an chase him away.
As he's running away, you'll open fire and bring him down.
No more complaints about the dogs or the guns, can't imagine a scenario that will help you out with the fireworks though.
