Good question. Collect some info.
Is the original driveshaft gone?
If the original is still there, does it need maintenance (new universal joints), joints can be changed for 20$ each plus labour, probably about a $100 job total.
If the shaft is damaged in some way, can the distance (eye to eye of the ends be measured and an equivalent shaft installed?
Is there and auto recyler (auto scrap yard) local that could provide a replacement shaft?
Some additional info may be required for good forum responses.
Some with more knowledge of those years would be able to advise best what other years would be good doner trucks.

This is what fell out of my jeep. I was told I had to measure and got like 32inch.

OK...so it fell out...is that end broken? Do you have a better picture of the cone assembly on the left side? Perhaps a shot of where it went under the car? Did you lose fluid? Did it happen while driving or in the driveway? What happened when it fell out? Is it a manual or automatic transmission? Was it cloudy that day? OK, nevermind the last one, but here is where you need to be as descriptive as possible.

Cagney, your driveshaft looks great, maybe some fresh universal joints, only if they are loose.
However, your problem is as suggested that aluminum cone section. If that's broke, then you don't need a drive shaft, you need some transfer case service to replace that cone section. If it is just unbolted, then perhaps some bolts and sealant. If it is broke, then it gets worse.
Your going to need some eyes and hands on help with this.
As earlier suggested, got any additional pics?

I know i need the aluminum piece on the end. But the drive shaft has some dents in it and I think its bent. When I call around to find one everyone is asking what rearend I have. If its a Chrysler or a Dana. It happened at highway speed and it was snowing lol. Its manual transmission.
