Default Plasti Dip Question, How does it handle heat?

Have not used Plasti Dip myself but know a lot of guys here have experience with it. Im wondering how it handles heat? I recently acquired a set of hood vents form a New Yorker at the JW and being that Im in Portland Or. and it rains 350 days a year I want to make some sheet metal covers to put on when the extra venting isn't needed and thought about plasti dipping them to make them more water resistant but not sure how well it would take the underhood heat? Feedback?

On the plexi dip site, guys are painting engine parts, so I'm sure it hold up to hood vents.
