Planning on replacing my headliner, need advice
I own a 2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport, 4-Door. I am planning on replacing the headliner soon. I'm not sure if I'm going to attempt it myself, or have it done professionally. Either way, I am looking at ordering some RealTree fabric. It appears that all fabric I find is 60" wide. I figure I will need about 3 yards for the length, but is 60" enough for the width?

Hmm...good point. I guess I need to keep looking around to see if I can find a 6ft wide fabric that matches what I am looking for. Thank you for the info.

Also...while I'm thinking about it. I have seen some people recommend using 3M spray adhesive, and others recommend using some kind of brush-on gel adhesive. Which do you recommend?

Here is a good writeup:
http://www.4x4xplor.com/headliner.html
I used this fabric when I did mine:

I would use the 3m spray. I have been told it works the best.

I'm still not sure I will tackle this job myself. I found a place that said they will do it for around $200 including the visors...less if I provide my own fabric. Their work is guaranteed too. I do appreciate everyone's help though. I am glad I found this website.

Thanks for starting this thread. After checking the links I've decided that I'll probably replace the headliner myself. A friend paid someone $125 to do it to his Cherokee but if I like to save money.
