pipe type for bumpers

what kind of pipe and thickness is expectable for a front and rear bumper? i found a 6'x2" fence pipe,i wasnt sure if i was able to use it or not but i picked it up anyway

its tube not pipe that most people use and most people use 1.5-1.75" diameter and atleast .120 wall if not better thickness either hrew(hot rolled electric welded)or dom(drawn over mandrel) i would be careful with fence poles cause it is most likely galvanized and not good to weld with anyway

Sch 40 is 1/8 wall, pretty standard for a round tube style bumper, sch 80 is thicker, yet harder to find,also harder to bend, much harder. The tube gets it's strength by being round.
