What do you mean? Take the console out.

 

Yeah but around the gear shifter and 4x4 shifter mine is an 88 cherokee

 

Take it out... The entire center console comes out. Pull the top of the shifter off, then take the surround off, then there are screws inside of that. It's easy to take off. IDK how you go about taking off the 4x4 shifter but I'm sure it's easy...

 

How would I get them back in

 

What he said, undo some screws then pull it off. When done just put it back in opposite of how you took it out.

Here is my zj. Still in build stage but should be done after fuel,brakes steering and exo. A lot of fender cutting to

60/14 bolt 5.38 gears
38" swampers.

Drilled holes in the housing then ran a red l.e.d
