Default Picked up a new jeep

just picked up a new 00 xj all the bad **** was fixed. Looking to do a ported throttle body and some injectors. What size throttle body do u all reccomend and what injectors? Jeep already has a air intake system. I will be adding a cat back system also. Just after the tcase there is what looks like a cat and then the muffler. Is that a secondary cat or a resonator? Can I ditch it?

ported t body brings back memories of a few yrs ago on hummer and other forums. most mods would give 5-10 hp at 4000-5000 rpm where most of people dont drive very long except all out racing.
throttle response did improve or 'change' simply because it lets more air in for the same pedal push. the pcm adjusts the gas to maintain the air/fuel ratio that its programmed for so it feels like quicker response.
someone said you could do the same by modifying the linkage to open the tb faster. so you get what you pay for.
some famous air filters claim 5-10 hp but again look close, its usually around 4-5000 rpm. i found it hard to read their power graphs!
it would be interesting to hear actual reports on jeeps.
