I want one real bad the thing that has held me back. In my Quadro tech meg the add for the chip says to run an after market MAP sensor but the add for the MAP sensor says not to use it with a chip!!!!!!! So confusing sorry to hijack your thread but what do you all need to run then????

Well they say they change trans shift points? They don't even do that. I have alot of friends with chips in alot of other vehicles and it dose alot for them why would it be diff for an xj

If all you do is ad in a chip, you're not gonna get much from it with an XJ. It's just how they are. Like I said, for less money and better results, go with a 63mm bored tb.

A chip for a xj is a waste of money I have a superchips hand held, I tried the performance program and it really does nothing, I only use if for the read out of all the gauges and O2 sensors and etc when running plus you can program your tire size for the speedo.The shift point change also doesn't really work good either. The only chips I have seen work for sure are the ones for the cummins
