OX Rebuildable U Joints
Has anyone ever ran OX rebuildable front axle U joints before?
They're supposed to be unbreakable, or at least to the point to where your shaft will break before it will.
Obviously, the bushings can wear out over time, which is why they're rebuildable. No needle bearings in these!

Don't have much experience with them. Brothers ZJ came with them on it. Has OX locker, ox shafts and ox u joints. on 35" TSL. Hes done it locked front and rear on pavement in 4 low (stupidity) and not busted anything and quite a bit of hammering it up stuff and mall crawling up light posts and stuff with no problems. Previous owner ranted and raved about how good the u joints were and how he never broke any but the guy wasnt the original builder of the jeep and seemed pretty clueless about the jeep but thats all the information i can give you on them.

Besides, what would you rather replace on the trail? A driveshaft, or a u-joint?

Unless you have locking hubs you don't want to run these or any like them. They don't use needle bearings, they use bronze bushings and aren't made to be turning constantly. If you have them on a street driven vehicle they will wear out in a few months due to this. Notice it says "Not for highway use" and that's the reason. My Yukons are the same way but I don't drive mine on pavement and have locking hubs and I still have to grease them after every couple of rides.
roninofako those are some of the cheaper ones of that type.
