Default Outstanding damage.

Outstanding damage. Thinks that plague you or you would like to fix but haven't/never will.

I'll start. Well my list will be kind of long.

Have to elbow my driver window to go down and I pull it up.
Doors sag alot ( removable)
Turn the key 5 times everytime I start it. Check valve.
Have paracord wrapped around the inside of the rear hatch. Handle doesnt work.
Weird smells I cannot identify occasionally.
Have a huge dent under my driver door where I got high center on a stump.
Passenger door has huge dent from tree.
Weird popping noise at full turn.
Stuck in 4wd full time.

Besides that my jeep is totally reliable and run's great. I commute about 60 mile's a day over a steep mountain pass.

Ok... My list for my ZJ

Multicolored body parts and cancer needs to go

Knife stabbings in driver side armrest which drive my elbow completely raw (currently covered in duct tape for prevention of future injury)

Junk the entire front axle and all other components.. I've replaced all steering components at least 4 times in the past year along with ball joints, control arms, track bar, and sway bar end links to still have floating, random pulling in either direction and death wobble issues

The rear hatch vibrates and drives me bonkers with its clunking/rattle noises

Cruise control doesn't work and the button randomly flies off the steering wheel while driving

Sometimes it sputters/hesitates and feels like I'm riding a freaking bull

Stalls out randomly when it's hot outside and I have 5/8 of a tank of gas or less... Sometimes when it is full

No horn.... And lacking 'horn broken watch for finger' sticker

Phantom passenger side back window.... Randomly rolls down after start up

Cracked exhaust manifold (sounds 'beastly' lol)

Headlights decide whether they are going to turn on or not when switch is turned on (hid kit that's bipolar)

Is a stubborn pos whenever I go to fix anything. It will have a problem, and as soon as I or anyone looks at it to diagnose, the problems vanish for that time. Then it will start the problems again and the cycle continues.

I'm sure the list goes on, but that's all I can think of at the moment... Lol but my zj has almost 230k miles and really wasn't taken care of by previous owner, so I'm still impressed and I know that this all could be much worse. It still runs pretty great and gets me from point a to b.

I'm definitely fixing mine, but these I haven't done yet.

-Rust hole repair on rocker panel.
-Rust repair in door jamb corners (both sides)
-Rust repair...everywhere.
-Rusty, factory original shocks and leafs.

Anyone noticing a theme here? Heh.

DOH!!!

I was misled by the title...
I thought it meant...
out·stand·ing

/ˌoutˈstandiNG/
Adjective
  • Exceptionally good.
  • Clearly noticeable: "works of outstanding banality".

Synonyms
prominent - eminent - distinguished - notable

Only issue with mine is the check valve, if I knew the part #for the BMW inline check valve that's supposed to fix it I'd do it in a second.
