otk or utk steering?

Well a good search can give you many answers but I will say it has to do with clearance, angle, but otk does come with its own set of troubles/hassle

Well after the first time I smashed the stock tie rod against some rocks I knew it was time for an upgrade. Made my own otk 1 ton setup designed after serious off roads. I must have gotten lucky because I don't have the" dead spot" a lot of people experienced. Plus the little bit extra clearance is a nice peace of mind too

It all depends on your Jeep and what you plan to do with it.
For a DD that gets occasional offroad use, a simple UTK bolt on upgrade like the Currie set-up is a great option. No fabrication work or swapping out knuckles, brakes etc .... just plug and play - ands its super beefy!!
For a dedicated wheeler with big tires and lots of lift .... OTK is totally the way to go. Personally, I'm a HUGE fan of the WJ knuckle swap along with moving the track bar to the top of the axle tube.
