Default Ordering new rims, quick backspacing question

Im about to order a set of rims, im gonna go with 3.5 bs, should that give me a wider stance, im running 1.25" wheel spacers on stock rims and going to get rid of them once I get my rims but I want a wide stance.

I believe that the stock 5-star Cherokee wheels have a backspacing of 5.25, so with your current spacers, you have a backspacing of 4.00.

Going to a 3.5 backspacing will push your wheels out another .5 inches, and should give you a slightly wider stance.

stocks are 5.5 bs, so if you have that with 1.25 spacers now, your actual bs would be 4.25"

so with the new rims, if you ditched the spacers, you would be at 3.5" bs, so yeah the stance would be almost an inch wider.

EDIT: nvm, apparently stocks are 5.25, so your current BS is 4" with the spacers. Without the spacers, but with the new wheels, you would have about a .5" wider stance on each side

4 bs is good. The only problem with the stock 5.25s is that they rub on the LCAs at full lock. But with new 4" bs you won't rub
