Default Opinions on Rusty's lifts.

I saw their full leaf 3 in lift for only $440. Are they anny good? Ride quality is the last thing i care about, i dont care if it drives like a tank. Will it last for any period of time. I also saw their 4.5 full lift for $670, thats only a bit more than the rough country 3 inch with full leafs. Just thought id ask about the durablity of there lifts.

got my 4.5" with full leafs for less than that from Rough Country. I've not really heard good things about rusty's.

well i have a rustys lift kit and couldn't be happier and my buddy who buys everything from them wouldn't advise you to go anywhere else because their the best and because they give you everything you need for any size lift...plus they stand behind their parts my buddy was having some troubles with his shocks they replaced them...

I dont really like Rustys because the springs are so stiff and dont flex well.Ive got Rough Country on all of my Jeeps.

when i was looking for a lift everyone i asked said to stay away from Rusty's i did some research and thats all everyone said stay away

but then like in htis thread on guy i met said they stand by their stuff and they replace almost everything if your unhappy

i myself being sort of the go for it do anything brave carefree kinda person said screw it im going with rustys i dont care what everyone said im ganna find out how bad their products really are!!!

so my 3 inch is kinda rough and stiff but it flexs great rides awesome on the trails and is super durable i am very happy with their stuff well dont get thier flares! ( they crack easy )

I am running a Rustys 4.5" with new rear leafs. Seems to be a good lift to me, I like it.

So which would give me more flex the 150 pound springs or the heavy duty 180 pound ones, again i dont care about ride quality. And thanks for all the replys so far!

i run their front coil springs, all of theirs shocks and i love the 150 lbs springs!! the 180 lb springs are ONLY if you have a front bumper with a winch or something else heavy up there.

Also every problem that i have had( wrong shocks) got fixed rather quickly. just make sure you keep receipts and copies. just incase

They flex extremely well.

here is my old lift and tire set up (rustys)

Got their 3" Spring pack and absolutely love it! Don't know why everyone on here hates on Rusty's. My buddy has RC's 4.5 and wishes he had my 3" instead. Mine rides decently on the road and does great offroad with plenty of flex. i did however go with RE's upper and lower arms and tracbar.

well over the years their quality control was terrible. things have change to an extent. I would run a rustys coil and leaf before I would run a RC. their shipping is expensive though

I got a stinger from them and it was not cheap to ship it. I should have just got the tube and had a local shop bend it up for me but that is all in the past. After I installed it I noticed that the bend was not smooth, you can see and feel a ridge on one side. I might have sent it back but it's to late and it will not hurt anything anyway.
