Default Opinions on running Goodyear MTR'S in snow

Thinking on pulling the trigger on some slightly used MTR'S but living in Chicago, we get a decent amount of the white stuff. Reading reviews on these tires is kinda a joke because some give 5 stars , others give 1.

Any of you cherokee guys run an MTR in foul weather and have any feedback? I know siping is an option, I am just curious on actual user feedback. I appreciate it

Oh and these are the slightly old school tread patteren / non kevlar:

that pattern ^

I ran those in a 40x1350 r17 on my Blazer with siping and they were great on ice, and deep snow. I don't now about mud because I hate mud, but they were about as good as any redial tire I've ever used on rocks.
I did get some chucking with the full siping, so I would suggest siping only the centers.

Unless you got ice spikes on your tires, what tires are really good on ice??? Lol. I really think these will be just as good as 95% of all the tires out there, in any conditions
