I have this nasty knocking coming from the lower end of the engine. It's just slightly able to be heard from the top, but is much louder at the bottom.
Suggestions have ranged from flex plate to wrist pins to valve tap to even rod bearings. My oil pressure is good at a warm idle:

The noise gets faster when revving up the engine and it doesn't matter whether the engine is cold or hot, the noise is there.

He mentioned that it was all within the tolerances, so I'm overall pretty confused at what he was getting at lol. His comanche has the same harmonic knocking sound I do – same intervals. The first link you provided sounds a little more fast-paced.
I did open the flex plate inspection cover before and all the bolts were tight, but I should probably look again for cracks.
I really appreciate your opinion on this!
