put the jeep into the shop to have a new front axle put in $600, next day power window stops working $50, two days later fuel pump goes out $300, few days later water pump goes out $200, next day overflow tank cracks $40, cant wait to see what will be next. 90 xj 315,000mi

Don't take it to the shop!!! It will like being pampered and break down more often... Your jeep is secretly hoping that you'll fix it. I find that they are much happier when you do. (That's why I am doing my Fuel assy by myself. And yes I am a girl who LOVES my truck..... Still haven't figured out a name yet though...)

 

thats how mine is it just got out of shop on friday and paid 500 to fix front diff seals and now it went back in today cuz they didnt fix a seal so thats more money for them and they told me they fixed it

 

Same seal? That's what a warranty is for.

 

wait,... so they fixed the diff seals,.. and now(few days later) the seals are leaking and they wont warranty thier work? Have them warranty their work and dont go back there again,...

 

How cheep that they won't worrenty their work!!! That's like the body shop I used to work at not warrenting the work the did on my Audi S4! the messed up and broke my tail gate pannel and told me that they wont fix it!!!!! CHEEP!!!!! them is fight'n words!!!

 

yea and they changed my oil and broke my cowl into many pieces and i asked why he didnt say anything he told me he was so pissed off already cuz he had to work on my jeep so i told him to f off. so when i get my jeep back im not paying this bill cuz they hand the keys to u first before u pay

 

I'd raise all holy hell if I were you. They broke it they oughtta fix it

 

I had that happen at Firestone tire in Frederick, CO and the messed up my axle and my strut because they did not tighten down my lug nuts like I asked them to and they called me a stupid blond. I started a law suite against them and they erased the footage on the cameras of my tire falling off and said they were having problems with that camera. Jerks... Go after them if you can. Your probebly not the first person that they have done that too.

 

Yea if it's not fixed when I pick it up they are going to have some fun with there tow truck since they leave it out at night it might be kinda broken
