I am going to be lifting the jeep this winter, and i want it to be a minimum of 2". I was looking around, and the only 2" lift that came with full leafs were the Old Man Emu's 2" lift. Coming in at ~$800, doesnt seem worth it when i could have 3.5" easy for that price.
So my question is, what is so great about OME that it costs 800 dollars? or am i missing something.

whoa heck no! you can get a 4.5'' lift from rough counrty for that much! if all you want is 2'' just get some shackles spacers and shocks, no need to spend $800 on a 2'' lift

old man emu is a very nice suspension but very very very overpriced
i say hell no,make your own leafs with blazer/s10 or dakota and put the rest of the $ else where on the jeep

yeah, i was considering doing a BB, or just buying a 3-3.5" lift. If i do a BB, i may go a different route, and get everything brand new instead of from a JY and see how it goes. Its a daily driver first, weekend warrior second so i am still trying to keep some ride quality.

x2 i got my 4.5" RC lift for 375 brand new so you can easily go bigger for less money. i say go with rubican express BDS or rough country all good lifts for a good price with BDS being the most expensive

Thanks for the confirmation.. i just wanted to make sure that the OME Kit wasnt something amazingly kickass awesome that is actually worth it.
Im not really sure what im looking to spend for sure yet. under 1000 for sure, most likely around 600, without an SYE.

it depends on how sagging your rear leafs are. if they arent sagging, id go with a Rubicon Express Budget boost add-a-leaf. Its a 2inch kit. Spacer in the front. AAL in the rear. comes with new shocks as well and extended brake line. This is what i have. I love it so far. good luck
