Finally made my doors removable yesterday, and now need a place to put them when I take them off. So what is some clever things some of you have done to put the doors out of the way and so they don't get all beat up in the garage? I'm thinking maybe rubber coating some big hooks and hanging them on the wall from the top of the window.
And for those of you with two doors.. is it just me or is it almost impossible to get the damn doors on and off unless you have someone there to help you? maybe I'm just holding them wrong, but it just seems to be freaking impossible to put these things on by yourself. Theres got to be a trick to this lol.. send some cheat codes my way!

once you do them a few times it isnt so bad. make one pin longer than the other and taper them. this way you can line up the hinges one at a time and not the same time. as for storage they just go wherever lol. usually on the side of the house.

Make the top shorter, keep the bottom longer. That way you can set the longer, lower hinge into the other side, then align the top and let it drop in. Easier to steer the top. (Just did my doorless mod four days ago.

On the bottom hinge I actually took the pin outta the door side of the hinge and stick it facing up on the body side.
So when I go to hang the door the bottom hinge on the door side is a loop.
Man, thats tough to explain. I will have to take a pic.

Did your have to drill out the door mount so the pin would go through? On the write-up i read it said the pins were pressed in, however on mine they were welded.. really threw me for a loop when i went to do the right side. ended up just cutting the pin and welding it in

My doors usually just get set up leaning against the house or porch. Would definitely ruin my day to come home and find them missing sometime though.. lol

how long does it usually take you guys to put the doors back on? I'm thinking about hanging a set of pulleys in the garage from the ceiling to make putting the doors on a breeze, may even incorporate the mounts to support a chain hoist.
