Am I the only one that gets pissed when a granny is going 30 miles an hour in front of me on a 45 mile an hour road and passes them by driving on the grass on the side of the road rather than passing over the dotted line?

I find it thrilling to take the grass route and if there's oncoming traffic there's no waiting either.

hey 26 and still kick it through the grass. lol its only breakin the law if a cop sees you

 

I do it as well sometimes. I am not 16 but 10-15 under the speed limit really pisses me off. Not everyone is retired and has nothing better to do then slowly put around the roads. I know if there is ever a situation where I can't do the speed limit (like towing a pontoon boat), I pull over and let people pass.

 

Not gonna lie...

Its people like you that cause the majority of non-offroaders to have such a jaded opinion on our hobby/sport.

Oh and if you ever go to Texas... people do it all the time. They seem to make the shoulders extra large just for that reason lol.

No. People drive "dumb" in any/every car. People don't like our sport because a ton of offroaders tear up the earth. Down here off almost every two lane road where water gathers is a giant mudhole that people have tore up. In MT, there are areas they had to shut down completely because instead of staying on the trails, people were tearing up the side of the mountains, crossing creeks, and flooring it in every mudhole along the way.

People with smart cars/prius etc. hate us because they get 40 mpg and we are causing global warming getting 10mpg.

Then there is the noise. I even find it annoying when a truck goes flying by with an open exhaust. Then again I find Harley Davisons annoying for the same reason.

I have seen people in minivans pass people off the side of the road. It is not even an "offroading" type of thing.

 

I blame bath salts on this thread.
