I think OR Fab has a second tube below the main tube that has a void for fog lights in it.... I'm thinking maybe that one is custom.

Still a great deal on that bumper though.

Hello! New here, but have a few bumper questions....I know a lot of people on here are pretty good at making their own, but I am not one of those people. (No idea how to weld.)

So where can I buy Cherokee front bumpers? (I just got some bushwhacker fender flares put on....feeling the need for more stuff.)

I don't like the options my local 4x4 place has, so I was looking online but having some issues. I'd like something tight to the body with a small bar or hook mounts so I can get pulled out when I get stuck. Planning on mounting some new fog lights as well.

Thanks for the help in advance : )

i spent 100 bucks on a stick welder, a few bucks on 7024 rods and 60 bucks for 20 feet of boiler plating (thats what they called it anyways) 1/4 inch C channel. i put my bumper together with a protractor, press and a torch. Its super strong and saved my hide a few times. It holds close to the body and doesnt look bulky. Now go price out a custom jobby job super strong bumper online And pay the shipping.

There are a lot of retailers. Quadratec, 4WD hardware, 4Wheel parts, CBI offroad, CSL offroad, Amazon.com, eBay... just get some catalogs from jeep parts sellers and then google what you finally decide on... that way you'll get the best price. Don't forget to check craigslist for used stuff too!

Maybe if I find a used welder somewhere, I'll give it a go! Lots of scrap metal around here to work with if I look hard enough.

And thanks for all the great replies! It's hard to stop putting more things on the jeep once you start....

Try and stay away from the big corporations and support small business that build for Cherokees. I highly recommend Nates4x4, Detours Offroad, JCR Offroad. They all have great bumpers and likely cheaper than you'll get from other places.

Yeah, that's true.. didn't give that much thought. Detours offroad is where I'm hoping to get mine from. The Backbone system for the front bumper is great... and you can retain your stock bumper as a skin or ditch the skin and just build off the Backbone. If you want a rear to match, they have the tailbone which is equally as awesome.
