Default np247 in Jeep WJ buying help

Is there a test I could do to find out if the 4wd works in a WJ? Front what I read, most v8 WJ's came with the Tcase which has 4WD full time, neutral and 4lo part time. Since the 4lo is part time just like in my cherokee, I know that when I have the 4wd on the wheels turn at different speeds so when turning it jerks the steering wheel; I'll know if the 4lo is working. Any test for the full time?
