It's a 98 with the 4.0L and 3.73 gears. Only 125k on it too. I want to build it into a wheeler, but it will take some time because I want to do some routine maintenance first. All I have done so far is change the oil, new hatch/flipper glass shocks, HD Battery, and put on some 30x9.50 Maxxis Bighorns. Next on the agenda is new brakes all the way around, tune-up, exhaust work, new headlamps, upgraded bulbs, HD harness, and shocks. After that, I'll work on skids and front recovery.

They have their place, no doubt and I've considered buying another one for a second/trail rig. That won't happen anytime soon though.

It's in really nice condition inside and out for the age. Much better than my 97 XJ and rivals my old 00 XJ w/ 74k on it when I sold it. It's almost too nice to wheel it. Maybe by the time I get it ready to wheel, it will wear off. It did with my 00 that had about 55k on it when I lifted it and trimmed it.
Some other good things about the ZJ is that it has the 242 t-case, u-joint axle shafts and a u-joint front drive shaft. I know some models had CV axles and drive shaft, so I don't know how common it is to find.
I just ordered a Summit Racing dist. cap/rotor kit and some Taylor 8mm StreetThuder plug wires. The plugs were just replaced before I bought, so I'm good to go there. I'll probably pull one out to make sure it isn't some crappy platinum plug.
Now I just need the snow to finish melting and the ground to dry out so I can get some stuff done.
