Now I know how everyone doesn't discuss the cat laws but should I be fine driving it for a day without a cat and muffler until I buy a new one?
I don't want to kill my valves but it's got me worrying lol

Your valves will be fine why would you think they wouldn't? Shoot you could throw a straight pipe on it. But you would never do that in a million years bc you need a cat. That would be illegal remember.

It would only be true if you were just running the header. I just don't know how long it would take before you would burn a valve.

I would be more worried about your local cops, with the noise. If they pull you over and check to see if you have a cat, and you don't; it is a 10k fine. It doesn't matter what state u are inor weather or not u have inspection. That's a federal fine and then they will impound it.

Again, depends on ur local PD. So you judge.

You should be okay but your O2 sensor is going to be confused as heck...Depending on how much pipe is after the O2 sensor it could keep getting whiffs of outside air which means the ECU will keep dumping in fuel. IMO just park it until you get your exhaust sorted out.
