I have a 99 jeep Cherokee and every now and then my check engine light will come on and give me the message "no bus message sent from transmission control module." It runs just fine even after the light comes on, but does this mean something is going bad? I googled it and couldn't really find much that I could understand but one site said something about the prndl lights not coming on. I'm not sure if this happens when the problem occurs, but for a while those lights would randomly go out. Also every now and then my interier lights like on my dash and radio will go out. My headlights stay on and as soon as I touch the headlight switch it all comes back on. Not sure if any of that is related, just thought id throw it in too. Id really appreciate any help on this that I can get. Thanx.
