So I'm selling my 96 xj on craigs list right now so i can deal with local people, but I cant come up with any damn prices. one guy wants a dana 30 front end, hub to hub, no brake parts no suspension. another guy want the rear driverside door assembly, side mirrors and grill. Idk what to sell this stuff for, help me out guys.

 

Are you wanting to part this XJ out, or sell it whole? Axles: $150 for the rear if it's a D35, $200 for the Chrysler 8.25. The front should go for $200 hub to hub including the steering linkage. Engine: start at $500.00 if it is good condition. Transmission: $300.00 if it functions and is not caked with muck. Transfercase: $200.00 if it's a 231 or a 242 and is ready to install. All of the other odds and ends, like body parts and glass should go for 25 to 50 bucks each. You can make more money parting it out, but it takes a hell of a lot longer to get rid of everything.

 

Yeah I'm parting it out. I think I just let the front end, hub to hub, go for 150 . but i'm new to this so it's a rookie mistake. we already agreed on it. I feel like i screwed mysekf cause it's going to be a pain to get off but w/e, I'll make it up. thanks for the help dude, wont make any mistakes again.

 

The prices I listed are just a ballpark figure, nothing is set in stone.
