Well this isnt really a trail repair, but i got stuck when i was messing around in some icy snowbanks and after 15 minutes of digging with my windshield scraper at 11:30pm (in shorts) i jacked the rear up, through my baseball bag under the rear tire that was on ice, and gunned it out in reverse. My bag is in rough shape now haha. When I'm done mounting my roof rack and replace my rockers with 2x6, i'll be investing in a hi-lift jack, and a stubby shovel as well.

when you bend your tie rod you can use the handle of a high lift and slip it over (after you get the tie rod bent back enough) and run that the rest of the day

I welded a drive shaft with some scrap metal we found, 2 batteries, jumper cables and a coat hanger. Didn't hold all that long due to it being way out of balance but with the low speeds on the trail it got us out to the main road.
Scraped lead off my battery post, heated them in a beer cap and used it to fix a hole in a radiator.
I'm from the South and we're like to rig things.

The Y-pipe that connects my dynomax headers to my exhaust came off so I just tied it up with speaker wire to hold it in place, literally fell off when I pulled into my driveway haha

Light switch in dash meltdown, pulled the plug off the dimmer switch from the lower steering column, jumped hot to the headlight low with paperclip. Now had headlights to get to trail head and home. No running lights. Brake lights are seperate circuit and still worked. Added a couple running lights to tialgate just for future considerations. New light switch. Put paper clip back in glovebox.
