Haha, I like it.

First night I had my license many years ago I backed into a pole and messed up the rear bumper on my then dads 2000 XJ; now my brothers.

He bolted a 4x4 piece of wood he painted black, when my brother finally took it off it was more solid feeling than the thin stock bumper haha.

I used drill pipe on the front of my 71 Chevy, tough bumper but lacked in the looks department.

I had a 6" pipe on my 3/4 ton 4X4 Chevy PU "farm truck" that I made into an air tank easy to do and I had it for a very long time, HD and useful!
