The one upside to vinyl seats. Doesn't matter if they get wet.
You know you drive an XJ when you clean the mud out of the door jambs by blasting them with the hose, with the door open.

YKYDAXJW even after the crappiest 12 hour shift in 95° and 90% humidity when you walk to your Cherokee in the parking lot you still smile when you get in it, turn up the radio and go find some mud puddles

You know you drive an XJ when a full tank of gas feels weird because the Jeep handles completely different with the extra weight

You know you drive an XJ when....you tense up every time you hit an expansion joint, bump or mild pot hole on the freeway and pray the death wobble stays away

You know you drive an xj when you know every bump on your way to work. And you can avoid every single one even when half awake.

You know you drive an XJ when you find yourself saying, "This is jeep weather," no matter what season.
