when you're up at the butt-crack of dawn helping clean your neighbors house out, and the XJ serves as command central in your mind.

you can't prove that..

YKYDAXJW you are watching an episode of Top Gear devoted entirely to off-roading, and even though the Renegade won in your mind, (the K5 blazer officially won) your only thought is- "Where is the XJ??"

ykydaxjw your headlights are about as powerful as a glow stick, so you drive with your kc fogs on all the time.

You purchase another XJ thats the came year as the one you already own and people tell you it's the same but you argue that it's not cause one is a sport and the other is a classic, and you nit pick at little details most other people wouldn't care about.

YKYDAXJW you can't sleep because you're worrying about it... but you REALLY know you drive an XJ when your fiancee has a nightmare involving it (got crushed in a tornado), and previous night's dream had the Jeep in it too...

BTW our solution to "strip it down and get rid of all the rust" is to buy a second XJ to drive in the mean time...

Now try explaining this to normal people. rofl

She suddenly had two new squeaks after I spent the last cpl of days de-squeaking the interior. (backseat, door panels, etc), she got mad and took longer to crank over that night leaving work, I refused to stop for gas and made her wait till morning. 3 days later, the squeaking has stopped with a few good screw twists on the console and she's turning over just fine. Coincidence....I think not. Lol
