Where did you find them?
Well I found one next to my TV in my living room and the other one was at the neighbors (figures)... just kidding!

I actually found them buried under a pile of Jeep stuff on my work bench. They were under some old door panels and wiring harnesses. I ended up also finding a floor jack and my stock height coils! Merry christmas to me!

You know you drive an XJ when you see every broken bolt is an opportunity to justify new tools.

this has probably been said but its so true. You know you drive an xj when something breaks and you use it as an excuse to upgrade it and something close to it as well

You know you drive an XJ when you would sacrifice fuel economy for bigger tires, more skid plates and trail armor.

You know you drive an XJ when you laugh at your wrongler friends for having to pack a tent.

You know you drive an XJ when you get a kick out of someone calling an XJ a "hero"

You know you drive an XJ when you have a dream of taking your dash and kick panel apart and run aux light wires. Seriously I didn't realize I dreamed this until I realized I didn't have the time today to actually remove all that

You know you drive an XJ when your wife accuses you of having a bunch of unneccessary junk in the back. Hey my sub is back there. As I am getting older, I need the extra power to hear the metal. As for the extraction equipment. True, she nailed it; totally unneccessary for an XJ! However without all the shovels and straps, and d rings. How would our XJ's pull out the Wranglers and the brother in laws yota. lolololol

not wife but every one of my friends and my gf say that. i have a 3 drawer tool box, 12" by 20" wood box full of random recovery items (i have cover-alls and a squeegee!) and a camp kitchen box that is fully loaded with everything i could ever need. plus a cooler ready to be packed any time i want it.

You know you drive an XJ when...
-it rains and the first thing you do is take your doors off and head to the closest mud hole. (did that this morning)
-you have enough tools and equipment in the back to replace a lift kit on the trail, and still have more room for anything else!
-your bumpers are never big enough, you jeep is never high enough, and when you find an obstacle you cant get over, you take measurements to figure out what size lift and tires you need to get next.

You start a simple repair and end up fixing a different problem that is more involved....
All I started was removing my rear mud flaps.... it went all downhill from there.

YKYDAXJ when you debate if you should sell your XJ, to buy a CJ-8 (Scrambler)... But you have nightmares about it!!!

Keeping my XJ... Yeah, it's clean.

YKYDAXJ when you always try to make it better than the day before!!!
