Hey bud, check out the plug on the back right side of your hvac control. That's the main power to the unit an I often the cause of that exact problem. Next time it does it, stick your hand back there and wiggle those wires. If you have an aftermarket headunit just don't lock it into the cage and you can just slide it out whenever it stops working to test it.

Thanks for the advice. I just finished my heater core. So I had everything out of the dash. I then noticed how melted it is. I filled the holes with dialectic grease and plugged it in as hard as I could and ziptied it that way. It works now, temporary fix. I need to hit the junkyard and replace the harness portion behind it as well the relay behind the switch. It looks pretty bad so I will be jy hunting soon.

1- Don't powershift into 2nd gear when you are on 31's and just bought an abused XJ for $1200.

2- COMMANCHE !!!

3- When I bought it.

YKYDAXJ when you brave city streets/traffic with only three known working brakes and pray that you don't need to try to stop short on damp greasy pavement for some poor schlep that steps out in front of you...

Only 3 brakes? Ive been running on just my fronts for the past few months. I know its a bad idea but it seems to be working till i swap my rear out.
