It's against forum rules to discuss removing catalytic converters, just so you know. I got in trouble for it in the past because I didn't know better.
I have a set of banks headers (And downpipe) and a full 2.5" magnaflow exhaust (Which includes a high flow cat), why would I cut that up? I've tried roughly 14 exhaust setups on my Xj, this is the best performing and cleanest sounding of all of them.

I've had a super 44 and a super 40 on my rig. Both had DECENT mid range power, but poor low end torque and poor high end power. They were both rather raspy above 2500rpms aswell, but mildly deep sounding at idle. Overall I wouldn't recommend a Flowmaster for any inline motor or any four or six cylinder. The two best mufflers I've had on my rig were a thrush turbo and my current Magnaflow. A Magnaflow definitely takes the cake though, I've never been disappointed with a Magnaflow on any vehicle.
YKYDAXJW you spend all day in the junkyard looking at all of the vehicles for "ideas" =D
**Remember to stay on topic guys.... We don't want this to turn into a strict thread. (At least I don't.)

YKYDAXJW...
You're driving with your girlfriend down a dirt road, and not only do you not avoid a puddle, but you aim for it, completely covering your Jeep in mud, and your girlfriend laughs at the fact that you're grinning about it.
