I talked to 4 wheelparts bout 2 weeks ago they said that their first shipment was already pre sold and almost all of the seconded. So I drove down to their Nashville, TN store yesterday and picked one up they only had like 5 unsold ones lefted

I'm not running their new winch, but I have their old 8000lb (I think). Works great, slow though. Biggest thing I would look for in a winch if I was to get a new one would be the synthetic rope.
Sorry I couldn't be of any more help, I know how much I hate asking questions & getting 1000 views & no responses....
Good luck

Let us know what you think. I ordered mine with synthetic rope a month ago. I should have it in my hands tomorrow. On paper it's good value but being so new we are taking a bit of a gamble!
As far as I can tell, the new Smittybilt 9.5k is a re-branded version of the new T-Max HEW9500.
As show in this video, it should work for at least one pull (haha) !

It arrived!
It's out of the box... and so far no complaints! ... well, other than the sticker being in the wrong place I'll post further impressions after using it.
