Default New Rubicon Express

Hey has anyone purchased a Rubicon Express lift ever since they reorganized. If they are as good as they were before I was thinking of going for the Super-Ride 3.5" lift kit. I also was curious to see if the lifts still settle about an 1" higher than quoted. I remember people reporting that the 3.5 settled around 4.25.

Thanks,
Jon

I've heard that people THINK it has, but haven't read about anyone with experience yet. Supposedly they have almost all of the original employees and manufacturing process, which is why the price has not changed. Which is why I am skeptical if it really did become Pro Comp crap, wouldn't the price have dropped?

You heard wrong.

I've sold a lot of RE lifts, many to people from this very forum.

RE is still built in the same plant by many of the same people that were there when the company closed originally.

There are those that were really upset when they couldn't get RE parts during the shut down (one on this forum REEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAALY got his knickers in a knot) and took it upon themselves to bad-mouth RE every chance they got.

Bottom line:
Buy RE with confidence!!

But yet you don't have first hand experience with lift kits. Also install is a lot different than performing on the trails

I would have guessed that they would be similar. I just want to jump on 4WD $100 off while I have the chance.

Hey SeriousOffroad seems like you'd be the best person to answer this so far. Would happen to have heard reports on how the kits are settling ride height wise? I remember reading that 3.5" settled at around 4.25" an the 4.5" at about 5.25".

Mines at 4.5 front and 4.75 rear. Its been a year and a half since install, so I think it's done settling.
