so I was scheduled to be in iraq right now which got cancelled. Goods and bads to that but thats another conversation. In prep for leaving I sold my xj cause I couldn't store it and had to get some bills paid off before leaving (failboat!)



I cried a little bit when she drove off (figuratively of course lol) and when our orders got cancelled I started looking for a 4x4, any 4x4 to get through the winter here.

I about gave up finding another xj but my buddy found this at his neighbors house at the last second. 94 two door, 173k on the clock, 4.0 auto and 4x4. Been driven less then 1000 miles in the last year (old lady didn't like it) but started every week and my buddy did all the maintenance on it for her. $700 and shes all mine (my first two door also )



I'm excited to be back in the xj world and I'm keepin this one pretty mild (14 mpg from the last one was not friendly to the wallet)

 

Sorry for your loss, but im happy you found something to sew your broken heart with LOL. Yeah the Hubby was supposed to go to Iraq AND Manas but they canceled both of them on him so he feels your pain, which is why we bought our XJ also, We were looking for a Wrangler but people want stupid amounts of cash for them, so we decided to go with the better half of the Jeep family.

 

Ya I was pretty excited bout going (1st deployment and I need the points) but looks like nobodys going anywhere around here anytime soon

I agree bout the wrong-lers lol stupid cash and not much more capable then a stock xj imo without putting some more money into em

 

What do you mean figuratively? I would literally break down in tears if I had to sell my XJ.
