New to jeeps is this a good deal??
Hello I'm new to the forum and jeeps all together. I just sold my car and came across this ad on craigslist
http://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=http...ml&h=fAQGG3p3W
A little more info: the chassis has 240,000 mi on it and the engine has 80,000 miles
the rest is in the ad
please tell me what you guys think and what i should offer or if this is a fair price or to stay away
thanks!

Check for rust and anything that looks worn in the undercarriage. Look at the lower control arm mounts and check for cracks... check the diff fluids and TC fluids along with engine oil and tranny fluid. DRIVE IT. you will know right off the bat if something feels out of whack, just be sure to get it over about 50 MPH to check for death wobble and driveline vibrations.

I would definitely check it out. Price seems good and he says everything is new. X2 on the what the previous poster said.

Like i said, just look at it and see what you think. Drive it. Then sleep on it and tell him $6800. I dont know what your budget is but it seems to be a pretty good deal to me. I would ask to see receipts and stuff for all the work preformed and instruction manuals for the winch and such.

Looks nice, but the price is too high in my opinion. Offer $6500 and see if he bites on it. Only make an offer if everything as stated above checks out. If there is any sign of rust, bent up suspension brackes, hacked up wiring, or ghetto rigged stuff just walk away.
