got a groover for christmas and put it to good use for a few hours today.

before

removal

done, i figured its easier to pull them out by going out in the snow and just spinning the tires rather that clean them up off the floor

i also did some sipping on them but i didn't get a picture of it after the sipping.

So i'm looking for a radiator upgrade hopeing to find something off the shelf. I'd like something with a higher capacity as snow wheeling causes excess heat from pretty much wide open runs the whole time. So i guess the question would be where to get the new radiator and which one thanks.

www.radiatorbarn.com Just bought one from them a few days ago, its in the mail. They had the best deals. They have an all metal three row that would be a good upgrade to keep it cooler.

thats a pretty good price and the two core is only twenty bucks behinds so may as well get the three core. thanks let me know how it works out for you. I'll have to talk to the better half and see if she will allow that but i doubt it. I'm currently laid off which sucks but it gives me more time out in the garage. thanks for the link

Hey no problem. I'm sure I might have a little struggle because its a little thicker than oem but it shouldn't be too bad.

hey there welcome to the forum. nice xj might i add. for the radiator, if you need good cooling, have a radiator shop build you a custom with brass tanks and copper fins. my dad has a radiator shop and copper is the way to go... up the street from us, howe and howe tech used ona them in their little tank they called the badger and it cooled that cummins pretty good.

Well I got the radiator in yesterday. It went in fairly easy and went back together no problem with no fitment issues. I did unbolt the header panel to make more room and I would recommend doing that. No leaks so far.
