hi, my name is jerry and im in iraq right now. i had my dad pick me up a 1988 jeep Cherokee lerado. i got it for a great deal and im looking to do a budget build with it. just looking for cheap ideas for a 3 inch lift snorkel. roof rack. and bumpers. this is my first 4x4 (been a mustang guy my whole life) so im in the dark with this one.

welcome to cf. theres allot of info and great people here. lift theres a ton to look at do some searches youll find out whats best for you. bumpers you can make if u or someone you know can weld same with the rack. or buy them try quadratec.com for more parts and welcome david in de

If by "in Iraq" you mean in the service, thank you very much!

And as far as cheap ideas, check out the fabrication section. Things become much less expensive once you start making them yourself. There are tons of write ups and examples of bumpers, roof racks, sliders and lots of other stuff.
