new to the forums
Hi yall i am new to the forums here but i have a 2000 XJ an love it, 5 vehicle i owned an I'm 22 lol. i know the thing will go any where i want to last winter i tested out 4 wheel drive in snow bumper deep, an did some mudding with it too. An now i been looking into putting a 3'' lift in my XJ from rough county with new leaf packs, shocks, coils, and lower control arms. An been wondering on what tire size i could run on it i found a good deal on 33's but i don't want to hurt my trans with it being a daily driver. An should i get adjustable stab links, and track bar? Any info would be a great help i have been doing a a lot of reading on here an I see that everyone does is it differently so i guess its all about personal preference?

Mine is a daily driver also, 2000 model.. 33's are fine unless you live in the mountains pulling long hills every day. Or tow a lot. Then gearing will be needed.
You may need a new track bar or relocate the stock one for a 3" lift. Shocks and extend the brake lines if you run disconnected.

Any tire much over 30" and there will be trimming involved if you off road without sway bars. I don't run sway bars at all. Don't see the need for them.

TONS of info in the Modified Tech thread, these subjects come up nearly daily! For 33s it's a good idea to regear, also it's very very wise to add a transmission cooler. The AW4 will last forever if it's treated right.
