New cherokee
Well I got myself a new baby. My old one was a 96 2wd with almost 2k miles that I have had for close to 9 years now, loved it to death but things were starting to go bad and I didn't want to put more money into it knowing that I really wanted to get a 4wd.
So I have been looking and finally found a new baby. Its a 99 4wd with only 78k miles on it. Up country package so it has factory tow hooks front and back, factory skids front and back and over tc. Very very clean inside and out. Everything appears to be stock which is exactly what I wanted. Working on speaker install and other misc things today. Will post pictures in a bit.

NICE. Look forward to the pics. As much as I love a filthy jeep (well, as much as I love getting it dirty haha) ya gotta love a uber clean one too. They're just plain sex on wheels either way.
Edit: ya posted pics while I was typing, looks great! Love the color too

ya. the pics don't due justice. its the pearl coat so it glitters in the sun. still haven't figured out how to work this camera phone right to make the pics look good on here.
it is almost a shame how nice and clean it is because I am scared to go get it dirty like it should be, but I'm sure soon I will get past that. haha.
now for tint, lift, bigger tires, exhaust and much more, I might need to get a second job....

I went to auto zone for tune up supplies and the guy told me to go elsewhere to find a dis cap that has brass leads instead of aluminum. Any comments?

Alot of people think that it's because brass is a better conductor, but it actually isn't. Aluminum has about twice the conductivity of brass, but brass will always last longer. Don't waste your money on a dist cap with brass conductors though if you're not going to spend enough to get one with good thick plastic though. Reason being, the whole point of spending the $$$ to get brass is that it'll last longer... But the rest of the assembly has to be high enough quality to match the extra life of the brass, otherwise you might as well of bought the aluminum. Hope I was of some sort of help, trying to find ways to offer my two cents... Being a new member and all

Thanks a lot cherock. That makes a lot of sense and clears things up for me.
And in defense of the auto zone guy. I'm sure he does get the high end parts. I have dealt with him quite often and he is the first and only AutoZone employee that seems to have a background working on cars and really knows his stuff.

Shame about the tires, no excuse for a lift and bigger tires.

Ya. Kind of bittersweet that the tires are in such good shape. Haha
