need your opinion on a buy
So i am looking at buying this 1991 jeep cherokee 4dr and need some opinion's and what u think of a good value u would be on this jeep.
also what u think of 4.6l good or bad? and if u can think of any down falls or set backs with it thanks
body is nearly perfect/ dark purple (almost black)
4.6l stroker motor 25,000k since build
pro rock stroker kit all forged internals
rest of motor stock
rough country 6.5 long arm lift
dana 80 rearaxle
dana 60 front axle
on 35x12.50 with 25%
solid front rear bumper
interior stock little tears

I call bullsh!t on the axles listed. That is not a dana 60 up front, and that sure as hell is not a Dana 80 in the rear. How much is this guy asking?

You can with a lot of fab work, but those are stock axles in the pictures, a Dana 30 and 35 in the rear. A dana 80 is over kill for an XJ. Don't worry about the stroker engine, it will be just as reliable as a 4.0. Don't expect to get much more that 15mpg with a lifted XJ. The only real draw back to a 91 is if it has the Bendix 9 ABS system, other than that it should be solid.
